Multi-Agent Stigmergic Model, Language, and Compiler for Parallel Soft Computing on the GPU(a)

This research introduces a novel framework for modeling swarm systems and swarm intelligence algorithms. The powerful new model is efficiently implemented on modern GPU hardware and custom processors. The model is Turing complete, offering a new platform for general-purpose computation, especially parallel soft computing.
